Meet the Team

Madeleine Manning, LMFT

Madeleine (she/her) has been practicing therapy since 2020. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Madeleine takes into account all of the systems in your life that contribute to who you are and what you are experiencing.

Madeleine works with folks 18+ who have an interest in exploring their identity, those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relational distress, or difficulties resulting from traumatic experiences. She welcomes clients of all different backgrounds, ethnicities, bodies, abilities, and cultures. Madeleine is LGBTQIA+ affirming.

Madeleine’s practice draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy, mindfulness based theories, as well as self-compassion research. Madeleine is a Health at Every Size therapist. She is also Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained. She hopes that through the therapy process, you will deepen your understanding of yourself, increase in self-compassion, and be able to identify concrete coping skills that work for you.

Madeleine believes that you are the expert on yourself. The therapy space is your space, your time, and your journey. You can expect her to ask you what your goals and hopes are for your life and for your therapeutic journey. She wants to ensure the therapeutic hour is client-directed, as Madeleine is an empathetic and supportive clinician to walk alongside you.

"You keep worrying you’re taking up too much space.
I wish you’d let yourself be the Milky Way."
