Meet the Team

Cassie LaMarche, MS, LPC, NCC

Thank you for visiting my bio! My name is Cassie LaMarche (she/her), and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I’ve been practicing since 2022, and I look forward to working and getting to know you! I enjoy getting to know my clients well and really hearing about their story. Therapy can sometimes be an intimidating process, and I try to make the experience as comfortable as possible for all those who visit my office (both in-person and virtually)! I welcome all clients 13+ of different identities, cultures, and backgrounds. My approach is person-centered, and I tend to use treatment modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy.  I also am Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained. My areas of focus include anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, first responders, and body image/self-esteem concerns.

I describe my therapeutic approach as “casual, yet professional”. I am a firm believer that clients are the expert of themselves, so I tend to work from a more collaborative and strengths-based approach. My goal is to create a therapeutic environment that allows for people to express their authentic selves, as well as support people in ways that they want to grow.

Little bit about me: My background didn’t first start in therapy! My bachelor’s degree is actually in Music Performance. However, being involved with mental health was always something that was important to me, especially after going through my own mental health concerns. Through some various life circumstances, I found my way into getting my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I fell in love with the work. During my internship, I worked as a therapist for adolescents and teens, and since graduating, I have worked outpatient mental health. Outside of being a therapist, I enjoy running, painting, reading, crocheting, and playing cozy games.

If you are interested in working together, please feel free to reach out via email or phone call. I would be honored to be part of your healing journey.
