Meet the Team
Leah Meyerhofer, MSE, NCC, LPC
You can blossom someone. This phrase was painted among the walls of a quaint cafe in Varanasi, India, where Leah (she/her) visited to enhance her clinical training. Profoundly impactful, this phrase continues to inform Leah’s therapeutic work. She is passionate about building relationships with clients and is a strong believer that rapport is a prerequisite to the efficacy of therapy. Healing is a journey not meant to be endured alone. Leah is grateful that you are here, and she endorses your worthiness of connection as you reach toward greater wellness and joy.
Leah’s treatment passions and skill set lie in anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress, vocational stress, grief, as well as relationship and intimacy concerns. She welcomes clients ages 18+ seeking individual therapy. Leah is joined by her furry companion, Murphy, offering animal-assisted therapy. Murphy brings unconditional love to all and is gratified by bringing optimism and snuggles to sessions.
Leah’s person-centered and trauma-informed foundation is supplemented by cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and self-compassion techniques. She is also trained in EMDR. Above all, Leah honors your agency in your healing journey. She empowers you to lead the way; she is in your corner to promote your desired growth and change.
